Ancient & Heritage Wheat
Ancient wheat varieties are believed to be direct descendants of the first domesticated 'big seeded' grasses, dating back thousands of years. These wild wheat varieties evolved into a reliable and uniform food source, that fuelled the development of all known civilisations.

Heritage wheat varieties are direct descendants of the European Wheats that were brought into Australia in the late 1800s and early 1900s. These wheat varieties were well adapted to the Australian environment and fed the pioneers of this country in the pre-industrialisation era of agriculture.
